Discover Our Selection of Contact Lenses

Are you considering contact lenses for vision correction? From daily wear to gas permeable lenses, Optical Gallery offers a complete range of contacts. We are committed to assessing your eye structure and lifestyle to prescribe and fit lenses that suit your visual needs. Whether you're new to contact lenses, or you're familiar with wearing them, contact us to schedule a personalized fitting by an eye care professional.

We currently fit and dispense soft lenses made from hydrogels (plastics that contain water and have a gel-like texture). Silicone hydrogel contacts are an advanced version of soft lenses, and can transfer a larger amount of oxygen to the cornea than standard soft lenses.

Contact Lens Designs

While contact lenses are similar to glasses in correcting nearsightedness, farsightedness and astigmatism, they can offer a complete range of unhindered vision, making them suitable for sports and certain careers. They are available in various designs, including: Spherical contact lenses that can correct myopia (nearsightedness) or hyperopia (farsightedness), toric contact lenses, which can correct astigmatism, bifocal contact lenses that can help correct presbyopia, with separate zones for near and far vision.

Useful Tips for Using Contact Lenses

Here are a few tips to help you get the most out of your contact lenses: replace them regularly to lessen the risk of eye infections caused by contaminated lenses and lens deposits. If you use daily wear lenses, take them out and clean them every night. You can wear extended wear lenses both during the day and overnight. Don't wear them for over 30 nights in a row. Discard daily disposable lenses after wearing them for a single day; bi-weekly disposable lenses after wearing them consecutively for 2 weeks; and monthly disposable lenses after you've worn them successively for a month.
