About Our Opticians
Optical Gallery's licensed health professionals skillfully interpret your prescription and give their recommendations on lenses and coatings to provide optimum visual performance, as well as frames to ensure a comfortable fit. We provide honest advice during frame selection and take into account your personal lifestyle and your visual and vocational needs. We also offer contact lens fitting.

Newly retired Carol began her career by working for a few large optical companies after her graduation from Ryerson University. Carol soon became dissatisfied with the lack of customer service offered, and the restrictions that come with working with a large company. In Carol's true entrepreneurial spirit, she decided to take a risk and start her own optical business. In 1985, Carol opened the Optical Gallery, and after many years of successful business, her daughter Anna joined her. Due to Carol's hard work and dedication to her patients, along with exceptional customer service, she has enjoyed close to four decades of providing quality eyewear.
Doreen who is semi-retired has been frame fashion consulting at the Optical Gallery since it first opened. She was given the opportunity by her good friend Carol who knew that Doreen would be a great fit. Thanks to Doreen's community involvement, she has helped the Optical Gallery welcome many wonderful new and loyal customers.
Anna is the second-generation owner of the Optical Gallery established in 1985. A graduate of Georgian College Barrie, Anna has been a licensed Ontario Optician for 30 years. Anna prides herself on her locally owned and operated business and truly appreciates returning patients. Patients making their first visit are equally appreciated as she understands the challenges -change can present. Anna with her staff creates a positive, professional, friendly no pressure environment.
Kelly has been dispensing eyeglasses and contact lenses for close to 30 years and is also a graduate of Georgian College Barrie. Kelly’s passion as a licensed Ontario Optician extends as an examiner with the College of Opticians of Ontario. As an examiner, Kelly is responsible for testing student Opticians at the provincial level.
Carla has a unique ability as our fashion frame consultant. Carla's charismatic sincere nature often has clients trying on eyewear that at first, they may not have considered. As a result of her talent, customers often praise her assistance and consultation resulting with more happy customers. The Optical Gallery prides itself on its unique and stylish frame choices much in part from Carla.
